The purpose of this symposium is research exchange and sharing information on cutting age materials science and spintronics based on university-level international exchange agreement with Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST).

Materials science and spintronics are part of Tohoku University's Core 虎扑电竞 Cluster initiated under the Designated National University scheme.
