The annual autumn field trip at Tohoku University's Kawatabi Seminar Center is coming up on October 24~25.

Students and staff are invited to stay at the facilities in Osaki City - close to the popular tourist spot, Naruko spa. The grounds also house a Field Science Center for the Graduate School of Agricultural Science.

Assistant Professor Yu Fukasawa will give a tour of the center, and take nature lovers for a stroll through the primeval forests of Hanayama with guided explanations of local flora.

When:
October 24 (Saturday) ~25 (Sunday)>

Where:
Kawatabi Seminar Center, the Graduate School of Agricultural Science's Field Science Center and Kurihara City's Prefectural Wildlife Protection Area at Hanayama.

Departure time:
Leaving Kawauchi Kita Campus on October 24 at 9:45am by mini-bus Returning: October 25 at 4:30pm

Who:
25 participants (Undergraduate and Graduate Students, International Students, 虎扑电竞ers, Faculty and Staff)

Cost:
3,900 yen (includes meals, insurance coverage and transport and accommodation costs)

Application deadline:
October 19

What to bring:
outdoor shoes for walking, rain boots and rain wear, backpack, gloves, toiletries, health insurance card etc.
